the Atlas Cole Memorial Summy Award Presented at the 13th Annual Tacoma Blues Festival and Awards Ceremony .
Presenting the award was Billy Stoops.

The inscription reads:
"Reliable, steady, liked by all and always in the pocket, when you say
musician's musician, you think of Bill Barner."

July 4, 2009 Blues Redemption wins the SSBA sponsored "Back To Beale Street"
Competition and will go to Memphis Tennessee in January 2010 to compete in the
International Blues Challenge.



As a founder and member of Blues Alliance, Billy and the band received numerous
