"I began teaching drum lessons in 1973. I enjoy teaching drums as much as I do performing. Sharing my excitment and passion for drumming and what I have learned about the mechanics of drumming as well as the nuances of proper feel, control and technique, listening and hearing the music with correct interpretation of grooves and styles to effectively accompany other instrumentation gives me a great sence of accomplishment.   Over the years, I have developed a curriculum and teaching method that is very effective for students in a wide range of talent and skill levels and style preferences."      All Musical Styles: Rock, Jazz, Blues, R&B, Motown, Afro-Cuban, Latin, Second Line, you name it.     Every Skill Level: Beginning - intermediate - and advanced lessons are available in my home studio in Gig Harbor Washington.
